HES Yearbook Club

Purpose

HES's Yearbook Club is a group of (5) 4th and (5) 5th graders committed to working on your HES yearbook for the school year. This will include everything from page layouts to design to photographs, interviews, and more!

Commitment

When joining Yearbook Club, you commit to working on the yearbook throughout the school year. This means every aspect of the yearbook from taking photographs to designing pages to making ads to tagging photos.  Yearbook Club will meet Friday mornings 8:00 - 8:30 am every three weeks.

How to Apply

Complete this permission form with the parent's signature and return it to Mrs. Dudley by September, 2023. (They can be picked up at the library).

Expectations

As a member of the HES Yearbook Club, you will be held to certain expectations. Failure to follow these expectations can result in removal from the club.

  1. Attendance: Show up to meetings. Missing a few here and there is understandable, but if you miss 3 meetings without talking to the advisors, you may be removed from the group as we need all participants to do their part.

  2. Meet your Deadlines: Part of making the yearbook includes many deadlines. Work must be turned in on time.

  3. Teamwork: Yearbook will be a collaborative effort. It takes the work of everyone involved. We need to work as a team. If you can't be a team player, the yearbook may not be the best fit.

Feel free to reach out to Mrs. Dudley adudley@huffmanisd.net with any questions or concerns.
