Hi! My name is Madison Valadez, I am a Pre-K teacher for Huffman Elementary. This is my second year in Huffman.
A little bit about me: I am married to my husband Rudy and we have SIX awesome kids. We live in Crosby. I grew up in Baytown, TX and also Highlands, TX where my family has our own farm that has been passed down by generations. I graduated from University of Houston Clearlake with my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and I minored in Reading Concentration.
I always welcome volunteers and strongly encourage parent involvement in our classroom.
COVID 19 ONLINE LEARNING
-Since the COVID 19 pandemic, we have transitioned into online/distance learning for now. This year I am the distance learning teacher for my entire grade level. This means that all year I will facilitate all virtual students that are in Pre-K. If you choose to be virtual in the beginning of the year or switch during the school year from face-to-face to virtual, I will be your teacher! I will be using Canvas App and my school email: mvaladez@huffmanisd.net to communicate with all my parents and students so we can keep in contact. We will be using Canvas as our learning management tool this year. All assignments and updates will be posted on our classroom in Canvas.
I will be holding daily Zoom calls with my class to make sure we are all doing okay and in this together. Your child's success this year is my top priority!
