I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Tarleton in Liberal Arts, then attended ACT-Houston Alternative Certification and received my Generalist EC-6 certification. I recently received my Masters from Sam Houston State University in Instructional Systems Design and Technology.
I have spent the last ten years perfecting my craft of teaching. I have taught PreKindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. In addition to serving as a classroom teacher I also served as the Library Media Specialist for two years. I have taught in both the private and public sector.
One thing I am passionate about is infusing my classroom with the latest and greatest instructional materials and technology. Because that is not always in the budget, I have written and received eight projects through Donor’s Choose. Some of my favorite projects are Boogie Boards, iPads, Classroom Pets, and Fluidstance Boards.
