Huffman Elementary S.T.E.A.M.
Welcome to Huffman Elementary School's S.T.E.A.M class!
S.T.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. In my class students develop and design projects through collaborating with peers by incorporating problem solving and critical thinking during their specials’ rotation. Students explore above and beyond their classroom activities and are provided with opportunities to expand their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.).

MAGIC MILK
WEEK 1 - MAGIC MILK Why does milk move and create swirls of color when liquid dish soap is added? When liquid dish soap is added to milk with drops of food coloring on the surface, the soap reduces the surface tension of the milk and reacts with the fat. This interaction causes the fat particles in the milk to move and create swirls of color. How about using different types of milk? Check out this website for more info: https://www.education.com/science-fair/article/color-changing-milk-experiment/
